هدفت الدراسة إلى كشف عن مدى تضمن مناهج الرياضيات لهندسة الفراكتال، ووضع تصور مقترح في هندسة الفراكتال لتضمينها في مناهج الرياضيات الفلسطينية، ومن ثم التعرف على فاعلية تدريس الوحدة التعليمية المقترحة على التحصيل المعرفي لدى طلبة الصف الثامن الأساسي واتجاهاتهم نحو تعلم الرياضيات، واتبع الباحث لتحقيق هذا ( الهدف المنهجان الوصفي وشبه التجريبي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من مجموعة تجريبية واحدة بلغ عدد أفرادها ( 35 طالباً، وتم تطبيق اختبار تحصيلي عليهم، وكذلك مقياس اتجاه نحو تعلم الرياضيات، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها: عدم تضمن واحتواء مناهج الرياضيات الفلسطينية لهندسة الفراكتال، بالإضافة الى وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي، لصالح التطبيق البعدي في الاختبار التحصيلي ومقياس الاتجاه نحو الرياضيات، مما يعني فاعلية تدريس الوحدة التعليمية المقترحة.(الملخص المنشور)

This study aimed to detect the extent of which mathematics curriculum included with fractal geometry, and submit a proposal to include fractal geometry in the Palestinian mathematics curriculum, and then to identify the Effectiveness of Teaching the proposed educational unit on the learning achievement among the students of eighth grade and their attitudes towards mathematics learning. The researcher used Descriptive and semi –experimental approach, and the study sample consisted of one experimental group (35) student, they undertake achievement test and a scale of a trend towards learning mathematics. The study found a set of results including: there were no fractal geometry included in the Palestinian mathematics curriculum, and there were statistically significant differences between the two applications pre and post, in favor of the post in the Achievement test and the scale of a trend towards learning mathematics(Published Abstract)
