هدفت الدّراسة إلى تعرف أثر استخدام استراتيجية الاكتشاف الموجه في تحصيل مادة مهارات الاتصال لدى طلبة الصف العاشر الأساسي في الأردن، ومعرفة أثرها في تحسين مهارات الكتابة الإبداعية عندهم، تم اختيار عينة قصدية من مدرسة خالد بن الوليد للبنين، باختيار شعبتين إحداهما تجريبية تضمنت 38 طالباً درست باستخدام استراتيجية الاكتشاف الموجه، وأخرى ضابطة درست بالاستراتيجية الاعتيادية، وتضمنت 42 طالباً، وتم إعداد أداتي الدّراسة المؤلفة من اختبار التحصيل في مادة مهارات الاتصال، والخطة التدريسية وفق استراتيجية الاكتشاف الموجه، وقد أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بالنسبة للمجوعتين التجريبية والضابطة في الاختبار البعدي في اختبار التحصيل لمادة مهارات الاتصال ولصالح المجموعة التجريبية، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بالنسبة للمجوعتين التجريبية والضابطة في الاختبار البعدي لمهارات الكتابة الإبداعية، وفي ضوء النتائج أوصى الباحث بعدة توصيات منها، الاهتمام باستخدام استراتيجية الاكتشاف الموجه في تدريس مادة اللغة العربية في كافة المراحل الدراسية العليا. This study aimed at identifying the effect of using the guided discovery strategy on achievement in communication skill subject of the basic tenth grade students in Jordan, and identifying its effect on improving their creative writing skills. An intended sample was chosen from the school of Khaleed bin al-waleed for males by choosing two sections: one is experimental which included 38 students and it studied by using the guided discovery strategy. The second section was the control group which included 42 students and it studied by using the used method. The research tools which consisted of the achievement test in communication skills and the teaching plan according to the guided discovery strategy were prepared. The results indicated the superiority of the experimental group which studied by using the guided discovery. The research results also indicated that there were no statistical differences of significance among the experimental and control groups in the post-test of creative writing skills. In light of the results the researcher suggested some suggestions, from which caring for using the guided discovery strategy in teaching the Arabic language subject in all the stages of higher studies.
