تمحورت الدراسة حول تعرّف محاور وموضوعات الإرشاد المدرسي في الرسائل الجامعية العربية المنشورة على "شمعة"، لجهة ملاءمتها ومواكبتها لمشكلات العالم العربي، ولجهة وضوح الإرشاد المدرسي كاختصاص ومحاور وموضوعات؛ على اعتبار أنّ الوضوح وملاءمة الواقع هما من أبرز معايير البحث العلمي. وقد أجريت الدراسة على عينة مكوّنة من أربع وسبعين (74) رسالة ماجستير في الإرشاد المدرسي باللغة العربية. وقد تم اعتماد المنهج الوصفي التحليلي باستخدام قائمتي مراجعة في محاور الإرشاد المدرسي، وفي المشكلات العربية البحثية المطروحة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية:1) إنّ محاور الإرشاد المدرسي التي تناولتها الرسائل الجامعية العربية طغى عليها محور الصحة النفسية؛ خمس وعشرون رسالة من أصل أربع وسبعين (25/74 (2 (إنّ معظم موضوعات الإرشاد المدرسي يقع خارج التوظيف في تلبية حاجات المجتمعات العربية (39/ 74 (3 (إنّ عدد الرسائل التي صنّفتها الدراسة بأنّها ملائمة لمشكلات العالم العربي، قد بلغ سبعاً وعشرين رسالة فقط من أصل أربع وسبعين (27/74( . 4) إنّ عدد الرسائل التي صنّفتها الدراسة بأنّها ملائمة ومواكبة لمشكلات العالم العربي، قد بلغ عشرين رسالة فقط من أصل أربع وسبعين (20/74(. وقد خلُصت الدراسة إلى، أنّ الإرشاد المدرسي كاختصاص ومحاور وموضوعات يتسم بقلة الوضوح في الرسائل الجامعية العربية، وأنّ مستوى توظيفه في تلبية حاجات المجتمعات العربية ومواكبة مشكلاتها، ضعيف. The study aimed at exploring the themes and topics of school counseling in the Arab theses published in “Shamaa” Database, in terms of extent, clarity, and relevance to the reality of the Arab world. Emphasis was put on clarity and relevance, given their importance as leading scientific research standards. The study was conducted on a sample of seventy-four (74) Master theses on school counseling in Arabic. The study adopted a descriptive analytical method, using two checklists to review school counseling research themes and research problems in the Arab world. The study concluded the following:1) School counseling themes addressed by the Arab theses revolved mainly around mental health (25/74); 2) Most school counseling topics were found inconvenient and unusable for the Arab reality (39/74). 3) The number of theses found appropriate for the reality of the Arab world was twenty-seven out of seventy-four (27/74). 4) The number of theses found appropriate for and up-to-date with the reality of the Arab world was twenty out of seventy-four (20/74). The study concluded that the use of school counseling as a major in the Arab theses was weak and does not meet the research needs of Arab societies. (Author's abstract)
