مقدمة: يتسم العصر الحالي بالعديد من التغيرات السريعة والمتلاحقة والتي من سماتها الثورة المعلوماتية وسهولة الوصول إليها، وانتقالها وتضاعفها، وكان من نتائجها كم هائل من المعلومات، ومصادر التعلم المتعددة وأهمها الكمبيوتر والوسائط المتعددة التي أصبحت تمثل لغة وروح هذا العصر. وهو ما يسر عملية إكساب التلاميذ المتأخرين عقليا المفاهيم والمهارات اللازمة للتعلم، فبمقدورهما تحسين مستوى العمليات المعرفية الأساسية (الانتباه- الإدراك- التذكر) وكذلك تقليل وقت التلاميذ المتأخرين عقليا في الدراسة المباشرة للمواد الأكاديمية وتحسين مهاراتهم اللغوية. مشكلة البحث: تظهر مشكلة البحث الحالي في انخفاض ملحوظ في مستوى التحصيل الدراسي لدى التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة العقلية، فقد أشارت معظم الدراسات إلى أن السبب الرئيسي وراء تدني التحصيل الدراسي يكمن في ضعف المهارات اللغوية (الاستماع- المحادثة- القراءة- الكتابة) ويمكن صياغة مشكلة البحث في التساؤل الرئيسي التالي: ما فاعلية برنامج كمبيوتر باستخدام الوسائط المتعددة في تنمية مهارات الاتصال اللغوي للمتأخرين عقليا فئة القابلين للتعلم؟ أهمية البحث: تقديم برنامج قائم على الوسائط المتعددة تعمل على تنمية مهارات الاتصال اللغوي لتلاميذ الصف الرابع الابتدائي المتأخرين عقليا. أهداف البحث: بناء برنامج قائم على استخدام الكمبيوتر وتكنولوجيا الوسائط المتعددة لتنمية مهارات الاتصال اللغوي لطلاب الصف الرابع الابتدائي المتأخرين عقليا. أدوات البحث: مقياس المهارات اللغوية، برنامج مقترح قائم على الوسائط المتعددة. عينة البحث: إقتصر البحث على 30 تلميذًا من تلاميذ الصف الرابع الابتدائي المتأخرين عقليًا 15 تلميذًا مجموعة ضابطة و15 مجموعة تجريبية. منهج البحث: إستخدمت الباحثة كلا من المنهج الوصفي المنهج التجريبي. نتائج البحث: أثبتت نتائج البحث فاعلية برنامج الوسائط المتعددة في تنمية مهارات الاتصال اللغوي لتلاميذ الصف الرابع الابتدائي المتأخرين عقليا القابلين للتعلم حيث أظهرت النتائج وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى الدلالة 0.05 بين متوسطي درجات المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في التطبيق البعدي لمقياس المهارات اللغوية، ككل ومهاراته الفرعية لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. Introduction: In fact, the current study is characterized by quick subsequent changes which main trait is the informative revolution and a great deal of information and various learning resources such as computer and multimedia. The mentally retarded children can through these media acquire skills and concepts necessary for learning, they can also improve their basic cognitive process (attention- perception- remembrance), having less time in education and learning academic subjects in addition to improving their linguistic vocabulary. Problem: The current research problem is crystallized in the low level of mentally retarded students academic achievement, the main reason for this low level is embedded in weakness of linguistic skills (listening- conversation- reading- writing) the study problem is basically formed in the following major inquiry What is the effectiveness of a computer program using the multi- media in developing linguistic communication skills for the educable mentally retarded students? Significance: Proposing a multimedia- based on program for the educable mentally retarded students due to traits and characteristics of this category. Objectives: Design program based on computer and multimedia technology for development of linguistic communication skills for grade four students of the educable mentally retarded category. Instruments: Scale of linguistic skills for mentally retarded children. A proposed multimedia- based on program. Limits: The sample consists of 30 students in grade 4 who are educable mentally retarded category control group consisting of 15 students, the experimental group, consisting of 15 students. Results: There is a significant statistical difference at significance level 0.05 between average scores of the experimental and the control group regarding the post application of the linguistic skills scale totally and its branch skills, in favor of the experimental group.
