AU - جراح، متعب بن علي محمد AB - This research aimed to determine the degree of using the educational robot by gifted teachers (activity pioneers - talent coordinators) and reveal the challenges of using the educational robot facing such teachers in the middle stage in the Education Office in Al-Ardah. For meeting such an end, the qualitative method was adopted through the case study design. The data was collected through observation and interviews with (3) gifted teachers (activity pioneers - talent coordinators) who were chosen randomly from Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Intermediate School in Al-Ardah. The results of the research revealed that the use of the teachers of (activity pioneers - Mawhiba coordinators) of the educational robot achieved the desired goals, as it shortened time and effort, and worked to provoke interaction and positive honest competition among students. The use of the educational robot also raised the level of teachers’ educational performance and improved their skills and the digital skills of their students, while the educational robot helped activate an attractive educational environment. It also helped implement extra-curricular activities with high efficiency. The teachers also sought to overcome many challenges and obstacles concerning the use of the educational robot by providing everything necessary. The study recommended preparing the school environment technically to use artificial intelligence techniques, including the educational robot, by providing devices, equipment and parts, and establishing special laboratories for the educational robot, and preparing training programs specialized in programming and installing the robot to qualify teachers and raise their level.
