AU - مرسي، عفاف محمد عبد المنعم AU - شريف، السيد عبد القادر AU - العزب، هاني السيد محمد AU - أمين، رضوى جمال الدين AB - The current research aims at identifying the most significant obstacles to activating the role of Early Childhood Education Colleges in media literacy education for their students and how to encounter such obstacles. For this purpose, the research followed the descriptive-analytical research approach, utilizing a questionnaire that was applied to a sample of (300) students (Fourth-year) in the Colleges of Early Childhood Education (Cairo, Mansoura, and El-Minia Universities) and an open interview form that addressed to a sample comprised (20) media education experts of media education professors in the faculties of Specific Education and some Child Education Professors in the Early Childhood Education Colleges. The research revealed the following results: 1) The research sample agreed that most of the obstacles exist, either to a high or medium degree. 2) There were statistically significant differences between the research sample in their vision of the most significant obstacles to activating the role of the Early Childhood Education Colleges in media literacy education of their students in favor of El-Minia University students. 3) The research sample proposed some suggestions; the most significant of them are the following: suggesting content of a specified course in media literacy education for female students of the Early Childhood Education Colleges and spreading the culture of media education through holding seminars and workshops in the field of media literacy education and activating the students' participation in them.
