AU - Al-Mosawi, Fatima Rahim AU - Al-Obaydi, Liqaa Habeeb Aboud AB - This study aims at showing the effect of using thinking train story book strategy on students' performance in literature. This research is limited to use the five-level thinking train stories in developing reading and thinking skills in English language learning. For two months in Mesan/ Al-Karrar primary school and Al-Wathba primary schools/ the sixth and fifth class in the academic year 2018-2019. The population of the research covers all the fifth classes in schools of Mesan during the academic year 2018-2019. To make full equivalence of the sample; all the students who relocated to the other schools (N=2) are excluded from the statistical calculation. Thus, the definite total numbers of participants are (25) students from Al- Karar primary school. (20) Students are employed to conduct pilot research. The rest of the sample i.e., (15) students are devoted to the final test. The result shows that there is a significant positive effect of applying thinking train story book series on students’ reading skills.
