AU - خليفات، مصطفى علي سالم AB - This study aimed to explore the effect of personality types on the aggressive behavior of university students in Jordan. The population of the study consisted of students of Al-Balqa Applied University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and it is consisted of (736) male and female students from various colleges and various governorates. The researcher developed a questionnaire to obtain answers related to the study questions, and the researcher assured its validity and reliability. the study findings were as follows: 1) With regard to the distinctive behavior patterns of the study population, the researcher concluded that the most common pattern among the study population is (effervescence and Equilibrium) with an arithmetic mean of (4.34), followed by (Extroversion and Inversion) with an arithmetic mean of (4.02). 2) With regard to the manifestations of aggressive behavior of the study community, the researcher concluded that (aggression towards oneself) was the first with an arithmetic mean of (3.90), second was (aggression towards things) with an arithmetic mean of (1.24), and third was (aggression) towards others (with a mean of 1.10). The results of the study also showed the impact of personality types on aggressive behavior, depending on the gender variable. The recommendations of the study were as follows: 1) Focusing on the human personality with its different types and treating the disordered ones. 2) Focusing on studies related to crime and generalizing this study to specialists and scholars.
