AU - أبو دلّي، عادل سعد عبد الله AB - The purpose of the study is to investigate the students' opinions at the Collage of Education at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia, regarding their professors' competencies. Survey method was used, and the data were collected by conducting especially designed questionnaire. Random sample of 207 students, of both genders, participated in the study. Competencies were classified under four clusters: Professional, Personal, Knowledge, and Human. Findings of the study include the followings: Students believe that their professors possess a high degree of competencies. Personal competencies ranked first, professional second, knowledge third, and finally human. But there are no significant statistical differences in the responses of students in term of their sex or level of study of the personal, human, knowledge and professional competencies that professors should possess. However, there were statistically significant differences among students according to their gender in favor of males in the dimension of human competencies. As for the academic level (the academic year) there are differences in the total degree and in the cognitive and professional competencies for the benefit of the third-year students, and for the benefit of the second- and third-year students in the human competencies.
