AU - آل رفعه، مسفر بن جبران معيض AB - This study aimed to identify barriers to enhancing the levels of involvement in voluntary work among Al-Mogamaa Saudi Arabian University students. To achieve the afore mentioned aim, descriptive survey research design was adopted. A questionnaire was applied on a stratified random sample which consisted of (862) students. Results indicated that mean relative weights of the subscale items; first (Barriers to voluntary work related to students' personalities), second (Barriers to voluntary work related to the University system), third (Barriers to voluntary work related to external society factors) and fourth (Barriers to voluntary work related to alternatives to face voluntary work obstacles among university students) were: (2.08/3.0) "accepted", (2.25/3.0) "accepted", (2.14/3.0) "accepted" and (2.43/3.0) "strongly accepted". On the other hand, the results showed significant differences in all three first dimensions of voluntary work obstacles at the significance level of (0.05) attributed to specialization and academic level. Additionally, the results indicated no significant differences in the fourth dimension (alternatives for encountering voluntary work obstacles) attributed to specialization, whereas significant differences were indicated in the same dimension according to academic level.
