AU - السعيد، دجانة حسن عبد الله AU - الحيلة، محمد محمود AU - أبو عواد، فريال AU - طبية، أحمد عبد السميع أحمد AB - This study aimed to determine the reasons behind the low results of (15) year old students in the International Student Assessment Program (PISA) for mathematics from the viewpoint of teachers and educational supervisors in the Capital Governorate / Amman. The study sample consisted of (304) teachers and (17) educational supervisors, randomized. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the descriptive survey method. A questionnaire was distributed to investigate the reasons behind the low results of 15 years old students in the International Student Assessment Program (PISA) for mathematics from the viewpoint of teachers and educational supervisors. The researcher used the following statistical treatments: averages, standard deviations, Mann-Whitney test, and the Cronbach alpha equation. The results are as follows: The reasons behind the low results of 15-year-old students in the International Student Assessment Program (PISA) for mathematics from the teachers’ point of view were with a degree of "I agree to a great extent", as the arithmetic average reached (3.51) with a standard deviation of (0.51), and the tool axes came at the level of "I agree" by a large degree and the level agreed. The axis of parents came in the first place, then in the second place came the axis of students, then came in third place the axis of the curriculum and its teaching, while the last rank was the share of the teacher axis. The reasons behind the low results of 15-year-old students in the International Student Assessment Program (PISA) for mathematics from the point of view of the educational supervisors were with a degree of "I agree to a great extent", and came in first place the axis of the parents, and in second place came the axis of the students, and in the third place was the axis of the curriculum and its teaching, while the last rank was allocated to the teacher axis. There are no statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the teachers' point of view and the average ranks of the educational supervisor's point of view in all axes (teacher, curriculum and teaching, students, parents) where the values of the mathematical mean for the sample of teachers and educational supervisors were close.
