AU - بارعيده، إيمان سالم أحمد AU - الغامدي، بتول فيصل AB - The purpose of the research was to provide a proposed guide for teaching social studies in light of Marzano’s Dimensions of Learning Model. To achieve this goal, a guide was prepared to use the said Model for the Unit of the Arab and Islamic worlds of the social studies course and citizenship pertaining to the second intermediate grade in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the second semester of the year 1440- 1441H. The guide was presented to (6) arbitrators specializing in the field of curricula and instruction methods to ensure the correct formulation of goals, and the appropriateness of educational activities with the steps of Marzano’s Dimensions of Learning Model. Based on their opinions, some educational activities were modified, and some language errors were corrected. The arbitrators’ approval of the guide amounted to 98%, and thus the guide was finalized. The researchers recommended training of female teachers on using the Marzano’s Dimensions of Learning Model when teaching social studies and directing them to utilize the proposed guide to Marzano’s Dimensions of Learning Model when teaching geography.
