AU - بن طريف، لبنى AB - Mathematical thinking is considered as a series of mental activities carried out by the brain to conduct and analyze mathematical, engineering and computational processes, in addition to finding solutions to the problems facing the individual in these processes. The mathematics curriculum is one of the most important cognitive areas in which the individual practices the correct thinking that affects his life. The purpose of this study is to identify the effectiveness of a proposed program based on the integration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in the development of mathematical thinking and to examine the trend towards learning mathematics among high school students in Saudi public schools. This study is following the descriptive approach in determining the level of secondary school students' possession of mathematical thinking skills, in addition to the experimental approach in developing these skills using the proposed program through its application to the experimental group. The current study population consisted of all secondary school students in public schools in Saudi Arabia, while the sample of the study was divided into two groups of control group consisting of 30 female students who studied in the traditional methods of teaching in mathematics, and a pilot group of 30 students that are taught through the proposed program based on the integration of the Lum, technology, engineering and mathematics. The results of the study were as follow: there are significant differences in the use of the proposed program based on the integration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in the development of mathematical thinking among the sample students.
