AU - الزارع، سلمان بن عبد الرحمن سلمان AU - المرشد، يوسف عقلا محمد AB - This study aimed to determine the standards of computer and information technology course effective teaching for the first grade secondary, identify the extent to which the teachers of computer and information technology are versed of the cognitive and skillful aspects related to the effective teaching standards, and to detect the statistical significance of differences of the performance of computer and information technology teachers of the skills of teaching in light of the effective teaching standards that may due to the number of years of experience or the number of training programs in effective teaching. The descriptive method was used, and the study sample consisted of (48) computer and information technology teachers for the first grade secondary in Al-Jouf, representing the whole community of the study. The researcher prepared a cognitive test and a note card as the study tools. The results showed that the study sample have a high degree of versing of the cognitive aspects related to the effective teaching standards, in light of the study results, the researcher presented some recommendations.
