AU - أخضر، أروى علي AB - This study aimed at monitoring the priorities of school reform in light of the concepts of governance and its impact on the quality of outputs as perceived by the directors of education in the kingdom and means of achieving them. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method. The study society consisted of all directors of the general education in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the academic year (1438/1439 ah). The total number of students was (46). The questionnaire consisted of nine areas that dealt with the priorities of school reform in terms of governance concepts defined by the status of the social contract: accountability, participation, transparency, rule of law, combating corruption, response, justice, efficiency, effectiveness. The study concluded the following results: the members of the study agree on the priorities of school reform under the concepts of governance and was one of the most important priorities of school reform in the concepts of governance (after the fight against corruption, then after justice and then after the effectiveness and then after the accountability and then after the efficiency and then after participation and then after the rule law and finally after transparency). In the light of the previous findings, the study recommended the implementation of governance as a priority for educational reform, that education reform starts with school reform, and that school reform begins by training education managers and school leaders on the concepts of governance and how to apply its axes; granting powers and responsibilities to the implementation of governance; the principles of governance in schools are priorities of school reform.
