AU - عبد السلام، زهرة الشريف AU - مسعود، خالد عاشور AU - بن إسماعيل، غادة جمال AB - This research focuses on identifying (the reality of applying administrative creativity by heads of the scientific departments in the colleges of Misurata University). To achieve this goal, the following questions were raised: what is the reality of applying the elements of the administrative creativity of the heads of scientific departments in the colleges of Misurata University? This main question is divided into sub-questions: 1) to what degree are the elements of administrative creativity of the heads of departments in the colleges of Misurata University available? 2) Are there any statistically significant differences in terms of availability of the elements of administrative creativity of departmental heads according to the variable of age? 3) Are there any statistically significant differences in in terms of availability of the elements of administrative creativity of departmental heads according to the variable of years of experience? To address these questions, the researchers designed a questionnaire form as a tool to collect the necessary data, distributed to the sample of the research. The original population of the sample consisted of (77) heads of departments in (education - sciences - arts - economics) colleges, a sample of (33) heads was randomly selected from among them, which represented 42% of the original population. The data has been processed using SPSS program, and the research adopted the descriptive method. The research concluded with the following results: 1) the availability of the elements of the administrative creativity of the heads of departments in the colleges of Misurata University was great. 2) There are no statistically significant differences in the availability of elements of the administrative creativity of departmental heads according to the variable of age. 3) There are no statistically significant differences in the availability of elements of the administrative creativity of departmental heads according to the variable of years of experience. The researchers recommended the following: 1) providing finial and moral incentives to motivate the departmental heads and incite their creativity. 2) Adopting new ideas by the departmental hades which enhances their ability to creativity and renovation.
