AU - السالم، عبير بنت صالح AB - This study aimed to examine the effect of using the writing processes approach in improving the persuasive writing among the tenth-grade female students at Riyadh city. (40) students participated in the study who were selected by random multi-stage cluster method. They were trained over five weeks (two sessions daily) on how to use the writing process, which included five steps: the prewriting, writing the first draft, review, editing and publishing. The research findings revealed that writing process approach influenced student persuasive writing skills. The paired t-test results have demonstrated significance at the p<0.05 between pretest and posttest.
