AU - زكي، جيهان زاحم محمد AB - This research aims to identify “self-capacity in facing psychological stresses for high school female students” and to identify individual significant differences in level of self-capacity in facing psychological stresses for high school female students according to variables of specialty (scientific and literally). The stage of study contained sample of research which is (52 female students) at high school stage in governorate of Diyala. The researcher depended measurement of (Al-Nasir, 2007) to conduct the research after checking its validity and stability and used the following statistical tools: t-test for one sample, t-test for independent samples according to the results of study it has been concluded: 1) the sample of study have high level of self-capacity in facing psychological stresses. This give a positive indicator that have acclimated with the stresses and prepared for facing them, but these stresses became part of their life. 2) The self-capacity in facing psychological stresses has a large participation in making stressed life because of positive variables in personality. The researcher concluded this research with results and presented some recommendations and some were taking care in developing psychological guidance centers and early interference for the sake of solving student’s problems. Also, the researcher presented some suggestions some entered other variables like social status, academic attainment, and conducting similar studies on other samples of female students.
