The efforts exerted aim at providing professional development to teachers’ and helping them acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes deemed to be necessary for enhancing their future professional practices. Teachers’ development is thought to help promote learners’ performance and prepare graduate students that can meet the demands of future and societal development. Therefore, contemporary international trends and the national agency for educational quality assurance and accreditation have stressed the need for practicing Olympiad teaching strategies by Math teachers to meet the requirements of self-efficacy and to build learning communities that contribute in enhancing school performance. However, the current status quo attests to the fact that there is an apparent lack in teacher’s training in the domain of math Olympiads and relevant teaching strategies. Hence, the present study attempts to address this problem by suggesting a training program to support math teachers in that field. To achieve its goal, it utilized the following tools: An achievement test. Self-efficacy beliefs scale, professional learning community appreciation scale. A group of 26 math secondary school teachers was selected as the sample of the current study. Secondary school teachers were trained on practicing vertical integration and adaptation skills as well as the spiral organization of math curriculum using math Olympiad strategies. Results showed that the suggested program based on math Olympiads proved to be effective in developing self-efficacy beliefs as perceived by math teacher.
