AU - حسين، إخلاص علي AB - Iraq has suffered from severe circumstances and wars caused great suffering, hardship, pain and sadness. So as a result, our society is suffusing from psychological disorders. This is greatly noticed among the students of Diyala University. The students are hopeless and worried and this is due to the wars, especially the last one in 2003. The occupation’s effect caused many problems, social, economical and security problems. This obviously affected greatly the students because they are suffered more from crisis and insecurity. The students are in the age at awareness, maturity and interaction with modern life and its needs. This research is aimed at studying the hope and its relation with future worries for the student at Diyala University. Even has built a measurement for futures worries and hope, it has applied on this research sample which is about “300” students from Diyala University, for both gender, made and female, scientific and literary specialty and this research reach at the following: 1) the individual sample are hopeless. 2) No statistic differences at hope level according to gender. 3) No statistic differences at the hope level for the students at scientific specialty. 4) The individual sample has high future worries. 5) No statistic differences for future worries according to gender type change. 6) There are statistic differences according to scientific specialty change. 7) There is statistic relation between the hope and future worries for the university students. So the researcher recommend: 1) to develop and grow up the hope for the students through guidance and awareness programmers to show them the stage importance they live and will have a brighter and positive image for the future through for certain on the positive sides. 2) Construct psychological and guidance centre in Diyala University to treat those psychological disorders.
