AU - علي، أحمد فتحي AU - عاشور، منال محمود AB - The research aims at identifying the problems of mainstreaming the educable mentally disabled students at the primary stage from the viewpoint of parents in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The sample consisted of (54) parents of students with disabilities enrolled in mainstreaming schools. The students ranged in age from 25 to51 years with an average (38.7) and standard deviation (6.1) years. The researchers used the scale of the problems of the educable mentally disabled students, prepared by the researchers. The results indicated that there was a significant difference in favor of the parents of students with mental disabilities in Egypt in the economic and psychological problems and the total at the level of significance (0.01). On the other hand, the value of the "t-test" was in favor of the parents of students with mental disabilities in Saudi Arabia in the academic and social problems at the level of significance (0.01). It was not a function of medical problems. The results also showed a significant difference in favor of the mothers, and in favor of parents with less education than the average, and in favor of parents younger than average at a level of significance (0.01). results were interpreted and recommendations presented.
