AU - العمرو، عبد العزيز بن رشيد بن فهد AB - Universities are seeking to give due care to the assessment process of the teaching performance of its faculty, and to take full advantage of the outcomes of this assessment to improve and promote the university teaching process. Due to the varieties and the dearth of the outcomes of studies and researches in both the Arab and global hemisphere- the studies that are interested in the assessment of the teaching performance of the faculty in the GED program in Education from the students’ point of view- the present study aims at assessing the teaching performance quality of the faculty in the GED program in Education at Ha’il University from the male and female students’ points of view. The study has adopted the descriptive method. The researcher has prepared a list of the standards of the teaching performance quality in the light of the previous and relevant studies. In addition, he has employed the questionnaire as a means of collecting data that are relevant to the study, and then applied them to 613 male and female students in the GED program in Education at Ha’il University in the first semester 1434/1435 H. The outcomes have showed that the level of the teaching performance quality of the faculty according to the standard indicators (teaching planning, teaching performance skills, assessment) is (Very Good) from the male and female students’ points of view in the GED program in Education. The arithmetical average of the teaching performance quality of the faculty is 3.77 to 4.15, whereas the arithmetical average of the general satisfaction of the students towards the program 3.956 with general grade (Very Good). In the light of the outcomes of the study, the researcher has provided a number of recommendations and propositions such as: 1) reliance on various methods and techniques of assessment. 2) Emphasis on the training courses of the various methods of teaching performance assessment, as well as giving it the priority in the academic teaching development courses. 3) Continuous development of methods and techniques of teaching performance so as to improve and promote it, as it is the most important indicator that reflects the scientific and academic prestige of the university.
