AU - Alquraan, Mahmoud F. AU - Al-Shraideh, Mohamed AU - Bsharah, Muwafaq S. AB - This study aims at investigating the psychometric properties and DIF of a Jordanian version of the Self-Assessed Wisdom Scale (SAWS) that was developed by Webster (2003) and (2007). The data was collected from 465 university students and was selected randomly from Al-Hussein Bin Talal University-Jordan (218 males and 247 females) where the unit of selection was the section (clusters). Data were analyzed utilizing the Extended IRT Rasch model with the computer program Rasch Unidimensional Measurement (RUMM 2020). Also, the data were analyzed using the traditional testing theory. Results show that SWAS- Jordanian version has sufficient evidence of reliability and validity based on Person Separation Index, Item-Person Map, and Cronbach Alpha and other psychometric procedures. DIF analysis shows that SWAS does not have any biased items based on gender and place of resident (Urban and Rural). Study paves the road for the use of SWAS- Jordanian version for further research of wisdom.
