AB - This study aimed at measuring the perceptions of vocational education students regarding the application of national vocational teacher standards in randomly selected vocational education classes. The instrument developed for this study was based on the National Standards for Vocational Teachers in Jordan (2006), which included seven dimensions represented by 52 items. The study surveyed 280 vocational education students at three public universities. Descriptive and inferential analyses were used to evaluate the data collected. Results of the study indicated overall moderate-to-high agreement toward the application of vocational education teaching standards in the vocational classes based on the perceptions of vocational students. The education in Jordan standard and the professional ethics standard received high agreement while the rest of the standards received moderate agreement. Data were also discussed in light of demographic variables of vocational education students. The study ended by offering a number of practical and theoretical recommendations for the field of vocational and human resource education.
