AU - الخولي، منال علي محمد AB - The results of studies have pointed to the poor level of scholastic retardation female students concerning positive thinking and that their positive thinking is possible to improve. However, according to the researcher's survey of the studies done in the field, there has been a shortage in the Arab as well as the non-arab researches concerning the impact of a positive thinking improvement-based training program on the decision making skills and the academic ambition level of the scholastic retardation university female students. This is why the researcher is conducting the present research. The researcher has used the quasi experimental approach. The sample the researchers has employed includes 27 academically-retarded female students divided into a controlling group (13) and an experimental one (14). Kattle's intelligence test has been used.the researcher has prepared the following: the decision making skills measure, the academic ambition measure, the positive thinking measure, the grammar achievement test, and the positive thinking program. The findings have indicated statistically-significant differences between the degrees of the two groups concerning the decision making skills for the experimental group in the post measuring. The findings have also shown statistically significant differences between the two groups concerning the academic ambition for the experimental group in the post measuring.
