AU - الخالص، بعاد محمد AB - This study aimed to analyze the electronic stories that presented to children in kindergartens in the governorate of Jerusalem according to children’s literature standards and electronic stories standards. The study also tried to identify how teachers used electronic stories, and the difficulties faced by kindergarten principals in selecting electronic stories. The study used a number of instruments, such as electronic stories analysis measurement, children’s literature standards, and semi structure interviews with kindergarten teachers and principals. The sample consisted of (20) kindergarten, (20) principals and (40) teachers and analysis of (50) electronic stories. The results showed that the average of the electronic stories standards in terms of quality of electronics reached (1.94). The results showed that 30 stories had the positive relationship between the children, (20) stories raised the child’s imagination, (18) stories showed the positive relationship between the child and the adult, (17) stories encouraged the children to pose questions, and (15) depicted the children’s environment. There was no story showing the child hero, or the child’s knowledge of the heritage of other peoples, or that which promote the independence of the child. The teachers expressed their views on the importance of employing electronic stories, how to employ them, reasons of their employment, and obstacles faced by teachers when employing electronic stories.
