AU - عبد العظيم، عبد العظيم صبري AU - الحداد، عبير عباس يوسف AB - The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a proposed teaching model based on the habits of the mind to develop the skills of knowledge and towards the creative reading of university students in Arab universities. The study consisted of students- teachers - Faculty of Education - Helwan and Kuwait. The sample was used by 40 students. The proposed model was applied to them. The researchers used the descriptive and experimental method to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model. The researchers also used the measure of the skills of knowledge (the preparation of the researchers) (Prepared by the researchers). The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: 1) There is a statistically significant difference between (0.05) among the average scores of the students in the pre-knowledge and post-application skills of the study group in favor of the remote application. 2) There was a statistically significant difference between (0.05) among the average scores of the students in the study group in the tribal and remote applications of the trend towards creative reading in favor of the remote application. 3) The proposed model based on the habits of the mind is effective in the development of skills beyond knowledge and towards the creative reading of students-teachers sample study.
