AU - إبراهيم، أحمد جمعة أحمد AB - This research aimed at developing the literary criticism skills and the metacognitive thinking through a suggested program in the light of criticism integrative approach. To achieve this aim the researcher prepared a literary criticism test and a metacognitive thinking test. Also he prepared a program in the light of criticism integrative approach. The experimental approach is used. The study sample consisted of 34 students were divided into two groups. A control studied the traditional way and an experimental studied through the program. The results revealed the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the two groups in post application of literary criticism test and the scale of meta cognitive thinking in the favor of the experimental. In the light of the results the researcher presented some recommendations and suggestions.
