AU - البحيري، محمد حامد محمد AB - This study aimed to identify the training needs for teachers of the Holy Quran for special needs students. To achieve the aims of this study, the researcher used the descriptive survey method with a survey of (34 items) divided into three domains: lesson teaching, special education, aids and educational technologies. The sample consisted of 62 teachers of those who teach the Holy Quran for special needs students. The results revealed that the training needs in all these domains are either at a high or a medium level. Using special teaching methods, class management, correct speech problems are the most needed in the lesson teaching domain. Regarding special education, the results showed that designing individual programs and their applications, knowing the special education theories and rehabilitation programs are the most important. Moreover, the results confirmed that teachers need more training about using computer and its application in teaching special needs students, using the Holy Quran written in Braille and using Compensatory sound systems for those who suffering from hearing impairment. There were no statistically significant differences among sample members’ responses regarding their training needs in relation to variable differences.
