AU - السلخي، محمود جمال جميل AB - The study aims to analyze the aesthetic values included in the content of the Islamic Education textbooks for the first three grades. In order to accomplish this goal, a list of the aesthetic values that should be included has been constructed. The list covered four main areas: the aesthetic of universe, the aesthetic of human being, the aesthetic of behavior, and the aesthetic of speech. Upon ensuring the credibility of the list, a tool has been established to analyze the content of the Islamic Education textbooks. The analysis showed the following results: the area of behavior aesthetic occupied the first rank with a repetition of 154 times in the curriculum content. The aesthetic of human being occupied the second rank with a repetition of 101 times. Then, the aesthetic of universe occupied the third rank with a repetition of 38 times. The final rank was occupied by the aesthetic of speech with a repetition of 36 times. Also, the results indicated an adverse balance of the repetition of aesthetic values in the first three areas. In Addition, it was shown a slow progress in the aesthetic values in the Islamic Education textbook for the third primary grade.
