AU - الحربي، إبراهيم بن سليم الهيبي AB - The study aimed to find out the degree of satisfaction among post-graduate students majoring in mathematics about supervision, identify the problems they face, and propose some suggestions for improving supervision. The study followed the survey descriptive method and was applied to a sample of (95) graduate students (males and females) in master and doctorate programs majoring in mathematics education at Umm Al-Qura University. The results showed that the students were poorly satisfied with the department's support, the supervisors' utilization of time and human relationships. In addition, the results showed that the students were averagely satisfied with their supervisors' performance and that there were no statistically significant differences among students' responses according to their gender or level of education. And the most difficulties faced by students during supervision were the weakness of innovation and development in the field of research, the unavailability of supervisors due to their load of work, and the bureaucratic procedures of supervision papers. The proposed suggestions for improving supervision are: the careful selection of post-graduate students, training supervisors, and providing a supervision manual.
