AU - الدوسري، محمد بن مفلح AB - The study aimed to identify the reality of supervising the students of practicum courses at the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the College of Education in King Saud University from the students’ point of view, and determine the significance of mean differences based on the students’ major and gender. The study’s sample contained of (96) male and female students enrolled in the practicum courses in four majors (art education, Islamic sciences, physics, and English). The students responded to questionnaire’s items linked to their practicum supervisor’s duties during the period of practicum. The results indicated a high degree of supervision provided by the university supervisors with averages between (2.75-2.91) for male students and (2.71-2.94) for female students. In addition, the study did not reveal statistical differences among the responds’ average means according to gender. However, there were differences in favor of Islamic sciences and physics students against art education students according to the major; and there were no significant differences between the art education students mean based on the gender. Finally, the study concluded with a number of recommendations in light of the results.
