AU - عبد الهادي، عبير أحمد عبد الله حسانين AB - This paper aimed at clarifying the interrelationship between intellectual pluralism and awareness-development of future issues which relates to the philosophy approach and these issues were represented in: social field that includes the issue of violence and extremism in its dimensions such as (intellectual tolerance, accept the other and coexist with him, intellectual and ideological extremism, intolerance of opinion and racism and dialogue of civilizations), the field of bioethics that includes the issue of cloning and genetic engineering in its dimensions (therapeutic cloning, genetic control of the fetus, genetic cloning, reproductive cloning and prolong human life), technological field that includes the issue of internet usage ethics in its dimensions (electronic and information crimes, electronic intellectual property rights, digital security, internet addiction and artificial intelligence), political field that includes the issue of citizenship in its dimensions (loyalty and belonging to homeland, features of Egyptian identity, political and social participation, rights and duties of citizens and democracy). The paper also dealt with intellectual pluralism definitions and awareness of future issues, intellectual pluralism of future issues and the importance of developing awareness of the future issues of high school students. The paper focused on the fact that future issues related to philosophy are characterized as dialectical with multiple and different intellectual visions and orientations. Each thinker or philosopher considers the issue that he addresses according to his own vision, his intellectual doctrine, the nature of his age and society, and then issues a judgment and approaches a different approach than other philosophers and thinkers who lived in different social circumstances, which requires dealing with the approach of philosophy from multiple visions away from non-monolithic. The paper concluded that it is important to include future issues in the philosophy approach. It also pointed out that the curricula should be based on pluralistic and to be away from non-monolithic visions in dealing with the curricula of the humanities in general and the philosophy curriculum in particular. The paper recommended that the objectives of philosophy education should be included to raise awareness of future issues such as (issues of violence, extremism, citizenship, reproduction, genetic engineering, and internet usage ethics), to build training programs for philosophy teachers to raise awareness of their future issues and how to practice them with their students, and to hold refresher training courses for supervisors and mentors of philosophy, managers and school principals so as not to be an obstacle to the implementation of intellectual pluralism in philosophy.
