AU - عبد الوهاب، صباح AU - الشوربجي، سحر AU - سالم، ناهد AB - The objective of this study is to compare the social, psychological, and behavioral problems that face students in both learning disabilities and regular classrooms from their parents’ point of view. The study also verifies the degree of differences among these problems with reference to parents’ variables (gender, age, educational level), family variables (number of children, level of income per family, number of children previously enrolled in learning disabilities rooms), and students’ variables (gender, level of grade, number of years of enrollment in learning disabilities rooms). In order to achieve the objective of the study, the researchers used a mixed approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative methods. The data were analyzed statistically by using means, T-test and One-Way ANOVA. The number of quantitative samples was (161), whereas the number of qualitative samples was (12). The researchers found a number of results; the most important one is that the social, psychological, and behavioral problems appear more in the regular classrooms, in comparison with learning disabilities rooms. There are no statistically significant differences in the responses of parents to the problems of students with learning disabilities with respect to all variables, except the educational level of the parents, for the benefit of the higher educational level.
