AU - الغامدي، منى بنت سعد AU - الحصان، أماني بنت محمد AB - This study aimed at identifying the effectiveness of reciprocal teaching strategy in the development of concepts understanding of "Learning through Projects for Children" course and learning motivation among future teachers at Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University. The sample of the study consisted of (57) future teachers divided into two groups: (34) future teachers in the control group that was taught using the traditional method, and (23) future teachers in the experimental group that was taught using reciprocal teaching strategy. Study results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences (α≤0,05) between the two groups of the study in the overall concepts understanding test at the clarification and interpretation levels due to teaching method, while the results revealed that there was a statistically significant difference (α≤0,05) between the two groups in the overall concepts understanding test at the application level due to teaching method in favor of the experimental group. Moreover, the results revealed that there was no statistically significant difference (α≤0,05) between the two groups of the study in learning motivation scale due to teaching method.
