AU - حسين، بانقا طه الزبير AU - آدم، سوسن أحمد AB - The study aimed at identifying the role of the funding education through the system of educational vouchers in reducing the economic cost for basic education in the points of views of experts in educational and economic. The two researchers used the descriptive methodology. The study population involved 25 experts and 100 male and female school principals. The researchers a random sample of 11 experts and 48 school principals. For data analysis, the researchers used the statistical package for social sciences analysis. The most important finding was: The most appropriate way to execute funding basic education through educational vouchers is that the state is to hand the vouchers to the families with low income. Some of the advantages of funding education through educational vouchers system is that it reduces poverty, reduces drop out and achieves justice in distributing educational services on the other hand, the disadvantage of funding education through educational vouchers system is that there is no guarantee for the body that funds education. One of the difficulties facing funding education through educational vouchers is the difficulty in understanding the idea. In the light of the findings, the researchers recommended: increasing the allocation for education from (GDP) providing information concerning funding education so as to make use of them in presetting suggestion. Basic school has to make use of the rewards of the vouchers, and a governmental institution has to be established so as to supervise issuing educational vouchers and following up cashing in the vouchers.
