AU - اللوغاني، أحمد عيسى AU - الردعان، دلال AB - The current study aimed to explore the relation between the type of the thinking (positive-negative) and the level of the future anxiety among students of the college of basic education, in the light of some demographical variables such as; gender and specific academic major. In order to achieve the goals of the study, the researchers created a scale to measure the type of thinking (positive- negative), and other to measure the level of the future anxiety. The study was conducted on a sample of (297) students; (128) male and (169) female, were chosen randomly from different majors. The study indicated the following results; a statistical significant differences in the level of anxiety among students that can be attributed to students' gender; it showed that female students are more anxious than male students. A statistical significant differences in the level of anxiety that can be attributed to students' type of thinking in favor of positive thinking type of student; as students with positive thinking have ligh level of anxiety compared with dents with negative thinking. No significant differences in the level of anxiety that can be attributed to students' specific academic major. No significant differences in the level of anxiety that can be attributed to Differential interaction between gender and type of thinking, gender and specific academic major, type of thinking and specific academic major among students.
