AU - Al Shatti, Hadeel AB - This comparison study justifies whether the government schools in Kuwait are really free of charge in terms of parents and teachers expenses in respect to provide education to a kindergarten child in Kuwait. Questionnaires data were reveled from parents who have children at ages 4 to 6 at the KG government schools and the private schools in Kuwait. teachers were also interviewed from both sectors. Different source of documentations was also obtained from both sectors. The results shows that, parents at the government schools in Kuwait showing that they are paying for hidden costs. The low-cost private schools are approximately similar to the hidden cost that is paid by the government school parent. In terms of private tuitions, the government schools parents are paying higher monthly payment to give their children the required support in education. Furthermore, teachers at the government schools they pay for the education at the classes, as the school does not providing them with all teaching material that they need to deliver the education required from them.
