AU - علي، جعفر حسين AB - One of the most important basics is to make the learning people aware of the competition importance to develop the level of skillful performance and its development as well as convincing them that the participation in the competition does not depend only on the individual aspects but also it is connected to social aspect. Thus, the learning person participation in the competition is generally identified through personal motives and inclination which touch the individual in a direct way. Here it is possible to identify the research problem and formulating it through the following question: Is the collective competition has a positive effect on learning stages of long jump by students? The research aims to identify the effect of the collective competition in learning of stages of long jump by students. The researcher used the experimental approach for its suitability of the research problem and its objective. The research community included first stage students in the college of physical education and sport sciences, Kreeman University for the academic year 2015-2016, totaling 33 male and female students .The research sample consisted of 15 students selected through deliberate method. The researcher used form of performance and achievement assessment. After collecting and processing data statistically through statistical package, the researcher concluded the most important conclusions: There are differences of statistical significance between the pre- and post- test for the stages of long jump and the collective competition method has a positive effect in learning of long jump stages.
