AB - Due to the absence of scientific studies dealing with adult education in ancient Greek civilization, this research aims at understanding the reality of adult education and its various manifestations in ancient Greek civilization by understanding the concept of education in ancient Greek civilization, the patterns of education in ancient Greek civilization and the most important philosophies of education in civilization Ancient Greek and educational objectives in the ancient Greek philosophies and schools of education in ancient Greek civilization and the pioneers of adult education in ancient Greek civilization and their most important educational views. The historical research approach and descriptive research methodology were used to capture all aspects of research and access to scientific content that would highlight the reality of adult education in ancient Greek civilization. The research has reached a number of results, the most important of which is that education in ancient Greek civilization was directed primarily to the adults through the literature of the study which proved that Greek philosophies as idealistic and realistic were philosophers educators for adults and teachers, using that dialogue and discussion And the argument for access to scientific knowledge in a way that nourishes the mind and enlightens thought.
