AB - This study aimed at shedding light on the concept of academic self-efficacy, and then building a tool to measure the academic self-efficacy of a sample of secondary school students and extracting their psychometric properties by applying them on a sample composed of (96) secondary school students (55 females, 41 males). Was chosen randomly from among the students of the schools: AbdulAzizal-Sharif and the new Bayadah, in the wilaya of El-Oued. To evaluate the scale reliability it used: the alpha-cronbach coefficient and retesting and halfdivision were used by the correlation coefficient between the test halves and corrected by Spearman Brown and Getman. The result of the study confirmed the quality of the psychometric properties of the new scale.
