AB - The study aimed to investigate Public schools teachers use extent of the basic rules of educational methods in the educational achievement of their students in government schools in Jordan from teachers point of view. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire was designed according to study objectives and hypotheses. The questionnaire was distributed to a random sample amounting 150 teachers selected from Amman Governmental Schools.130 questionnaire were collected, this means that the response rate is86.66%. The study found that the followed roles in selecting the instructional materials affects students' academic achievement. Moreover the study found that there is an impact of followed rules used before and upon using of instructional materials on students' academic achievement. The study recommended the need to provide instructional in public schools through following to cope with the latest developments and developments related to instructional materials in order to improve and develop the educational process And to provide the students with the necessary skills and concepts.
