AB - The study aimed at identifying the degree of depression of the Autisticةchildren's mothers and in the light of some variables (mother's age, mother's educational level). They had been chosen from some schools and centers of people with special needs in Riyadh and Jeddah. The researcher followed the descriptive approach. The sample of the study consisted of 58 of autistic children's mothers, who were selected randomly from the current study community. The researcher used "Peck Mini Scale for Depression" and a preliminary information form. After field study, the data collected was statistically processed by the SPSS program, the researcher used test (T) for the mean of one community and the analysis of the mono-variance. The study reached at the following results: 1) The degree of depression of the mothers of children with autism is above the average. 2) There are no statistically significant differences in the degree of depression among mothers of autistic children due to the variable age of the mother. 3) There are no statistically significant differences in the degree of depression in the mothers of Autistic children due to the variable educational levels of the mother.
