AB - The study aims to find out the role of the curriculums in Islamic studies and Arabic Departments at Al-dillm College of Education in qualifying the students for careers besides teaching, because of the plenty of graduates. Also, to what extent students can acquire skills that qualify them for the labor market available careers. The researcher used a questionnaire for the students in Islamic studies and Arabic Departments. It consists of four axes besides the opened one: Study in Islamic studies and Arabic Departments: 1) Enables the students to master spoken and written English, computer, ability to communicate, problem solving, dialogue, and dealing with others, 2) Qualifies the students to work in social service, courts, civil service, media, administrative business , libraries, tourism, voluntary organizations, and free business. 3) Develops students' technical, communicativeskills and others. 4) Student's desire of special provided skills in the curriculums to acquire. The study reached to these findings: curriculums in Islamic studies and Arabic Departments at Al-dillm College of Education did not provide the mentioned skills because the focus is on the knowledge without skills. Student needs to master several skills are lacking.The study recommended that: curriculum should have redesigned and include skills which enable the student to master the previous skills and practice of non-curriculum activities and hobbies.
