AB - Attitudes of students of the preparatory year at King Saud University towards the extension programs offered The aim of this study was to find out the trends of the preparatory year students at King Saud University towards the guidance programs provided. The researcher followed the analytical descriptive method. The study population consisted of (10,000) male and female students. The sample was 522 students, Data and analysis The study reached the following results: The prevalence of students’ knowledge of the mentoring programs was moderate among males and low in females. The prevalence of students' knowledge of mentoring programs was average for males (3.71), mean (average), for females (3.63) and average (average). Students had positive attitudes towards the extension programs, with an average of (3.72). The results also showed statistically significant differences in students' In the light of the results, the study presented the following recommendations: Follow the student guidance unit new and innovative methods that draw students 'attention to their varied programs and the students' need for them, in addition to the following: (Media, audio, and social media) at the university on the extension programs and extension unit in the preparatory year, and activate the role of mentors more through the system of follow-up students, and the work of seminars and publications to develop students' attitudes towards programs Guidance.
