AU - عكور، أحمد أمين AU - قزاقزة، سليمان AU - البري، حابس غازي ذياب AB - The purpose of this study was to reveal the level of cognitive knowledge of the theoretical and role principles of volleyball game among students of Faculty of Physical Education at Yarmouk University. To achieve the aim of the study, a test was prepared consisting of )56( items distributed on four dimensions: The level of Knowledge of defensive skills, role skills, offensive skills and the theoretical side and it was applied to asample consisted of )47( male and female students. The study results showed that the level of knowledge was )moderate(, while the dimensions of knowledge among students were in the following order: the offensive dimension, the defensive dimension, the knowledge of law dimension, and finally the theoretical dimension. The results also showed that there were no significant statistical differences at the level of statistical significance (α=0.05( in the variables of )Gender and the reason for choosing the Specialization), and there were significant statistical differences at )α=0.05( in the variable of the )Grade Point Average( for students with grade point average of (75 or above). Also, there were significant statistical differences in knowing the dimensions of )knowledge of law, offensive skills( according to the variable of )the reason for choosing Specialization( for students who chose the specialization by own desire compared to students who chose the specialization for other reasons.
