AB - This study explored the status of the value system among students of the Faculty of Education and Arts at Northern Border University in the light of contemporary challenges. Also, it aimed at identifying the differences in values system according to gender, grade-point-average and specialization. To achieve this, objective a descriptive methodology was followed by applying a modified questionnaire based on Albort et al's values scale. Validity and reliability for this scale were insured. The sample consisted of (290) students and the study concluded with the following results: Generally, the status of values system for the Education and Arts Faculty was medium. Only two of these values were high: the religious and social values. The other four values were medium: the political, theoretical, economic, and aesthetic values. While there were significant differences according to gender for the aesthetic values in favor of females, the political values were in favor of males. For grade-point-average, there was no significant difference for all values except for the aesthetic ones that were in favor of those students with high grade-point-average. Regarding specialization, the only differences were found for the religious values, and these differences were in favor of special education, Islamic studies and Arabic language.
