AB - The research aimed at identifying the most important strategies which are used by teaching staff who are responsible of administrative work, and to find out the relationship between these strategies and their effect on their individual psychological strength , cognitive psychological flexibility and to specify the differences of using these strategies under pressure . The researcher found that the sample is using cognitive strategies in the first place such as planning and reinterpretation of the positive and active confrontation and use procedural social support , reflects their academic preparation background , in addition to the religious strategy, which is a result of growing up in Islamic communities. She also found differences in favor of males in their re-interpretation of a positive illustration strategy, and differences in favor of females in their focusing on emotions and using social and emotional support. There were no differences in the rest of the strategies and variables of the study. The researcher found that mental strength is positively correlated with these strategies : re-interpretation , planning active confrontation, and receptivity . Moreover, there is a passive correlation with strategies focusing and reflecting emotions , attitude reaction, mental reaction , using of social support, using of emotional social support and competition activities. The study also asserts that there are differences between individuals who have high and low psychological strength , showing how the strength psychological and cognitive flexibility, affects teaching staff success , especially those who are carrying out administrative tasks and under pressures by using these positive strategies which affect their scientific, academic, vocational, and life achievements positively.
