AB - The researcher formulated ten hypotheses summarized as: there aren't statistic significant differences between the average of experimental group and the average of the control group in the achievement of the following concepts: (total mathematics - classification - seriation - pattern and number). Objectives of the study: to investigate the effect of using educational media on the development of the following mathematical concepts (classification – seriation – pattern and number) of kindergarten children. The researcher used a semi empirical methodology based on designing two groups, the control group and the empirical group that had preceding and subsequent test. The preparatory level in public kindergarten children in holly Makkah represented the study society. The researcher relied on the random method in adopting the samples, the sample contained (40) male and female children in the preparatory level at the third kindergarten in holy Makkah. The control group consisted of (20) male and female children, the empirical group consisted of (20) male and female children, one group is the study group and the other is the control group. The researcher used a group of suggested educational media and employed it in learning activities to develop the specified mathematical concepts. To measure the mathematical concepts development, the researcher prepared an achievement test on the specified mathematical concepts. The test's reliability, stability and difficulty of each aspect were tested and applied to the study sample. The statistic methodology used in the study: the achievement test results were processed using (ANCOVA) analysis, and (Mann Whitney test) for the study hypothesis. The results: there are statistic significant differences between the average of the semi empirical group and the average of the control group in the achievement of the following mathematical concepts (classification – seriation – pattern – and number) and in achieving the total mathematical concepts after controlling preceding achievement for the empirical group. As a result of the study, the researcher recommend: kindergarten principals are responsible for providing appropriate facilities and the suggested educational media discussed in the study. Also the representation of the suggested educational media has to be in subjective learning activities because these activities will stimulate the children thinking process and increase their enthusiasm and motivation for learning and developing the following mathematical concepts: classification – seriation – pattern – and number.
