AB - The current research aimed to identify the impact of the different style of education programs using computer simulations on the cognitive achievement and performance skills in physics curriculum among students in the third grade of secondary .the sample of the research consisted of 48 students of third grade from King Abdul Aziz secondary school at province Rijalalma'a, Saudi Arabia. The researchers used the program "crocodile physics" which is one of the products of crocodile British simulation systems which have been Arabized .the students were divided in two experimental groups, each one has 24 students. The first group taught through the individual pattern of using of simulation program "crocodile physics", while the second one taught through the pattern of small groups (each group has three students) of using of simulation program "crocodile physics.” The research revealed statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05 = α) between the mean scores of the two groups in the dimension of performance skills for the benefit of the first group (the individual pattern). Also it turned out through calculating of the amount of effect of the independent variable through eta (2) that there was a significant impact of the use of computer simulations on the performance skills of the two groups in general .the search results indicate that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05 = α) between the mean scores of students of the two groups in cognitive achievement posttest. It was also quoted that there was an average effect of the use of simulation software on the cognitive achievement educational pattern of small groups, while it was high on the pattern of individual. In light of this, the study recommended to activate the use of simulation software and make use of them in performance skills and development of achievement among high school students.
